Registration and Entry Process

It's as easy as 1-2-3!

1 - Register and create your login by clicking "Register" at the top of the page.

2 - Now go to "On-line Classification" or "Printable Forms" and fill out 1 Rider Survey & at least 1 Horse Survey. This will take a little time so make sure you have your past 5 years records handy.

3 - Once you have been classified, click on "Circuit Event" and send in your entry to compete as a Full Member, a Pro-rated Member or a Non-member.

 Now you are entered.

Hello everyone! Welcome to COBRA's Newsletter, The COBRA strike. This is where members and non-members can get up-to-date info on COBRA's results and other announcements.

Hello everyone,

We are so excited to be planning for our 2010 season. Our new board is busy getting dates set for our races and working hard to make sure this year is better than the last.

We would like to announce a few new additions for COBRA in this 2010 season. We will be bringing back our Youth Leagues as well as our Tenderfoot class for the youngsters. The rule book will be updated soon to reflect this addition. Youth membership is $50 and they can choose to run in a regular League or run in either our Youth A or Youth B Leagues. The Tenderfoot class is for the very small child that needs help either by leading or someone riding with them. Entry for Youth Leagues is $25 and the Tenderfoot class is $3. This class is so much fun to watch and we can’t wait to see the little ones out in the arena!

We are changing the format a little and will be running Open 4D Doubleheaders on our race dates under CM Productions. These will be two races in one day, added money for 40+ entries, buckles for combined time winners in each D. Our COBRA League races will run before either the first, second or both 4D races and will be announced beforehand.  We will be running at different arenas around the area and we are excited to spread the word about COBRA.

The 2010 season will start in April but we will be running a few Open 4D Doubleheaders to promote our COBRA season. Membership will be discounted 10% if you join on any of these pre-season races. Right now our first pre-season race is set for January 31st at RTM Ranch in Aledo, TX. An email with the flyer and entry info will be sent to all COBRA registered users and members from 2009.

We have in place a few board members for this season and we are looking for others that would like to contribute their help and ideas to our organization. With a board position you will receive your COBRA membership paid in full. This is our way of thanking the folks that put in the time and hard work to keep us going. Full Member

Only Full Members can earn points towards saddles that will be given away as year-end Champion awards for each League.  You will also compete in any Circuit Series for a chance to win buckles and other great awards.  You may also win day money at each event.

Pro-rated Member

This will allow you to enter one Circuit Series at a time - three Circuit Events.  You are eligible to compete for day money as well as a chance to win a buckle in each League.  Other great prizes are also awarded.

Non-member

As a non-member you will be running for day money only.  Remember, events ran under "non-member" status will not be considered towards year-end standings, should you decide to become a member later in the year.
